Job Role & Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal factory performance. You’ll proactively drive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support production in line with factory KPIs.
Take ownership of issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Operate, maintain, and control manufacturing equipment to a high standard.
Apply preventative maintenance and update work orders as required.
Monitor equipment and processes, report variances, and take corrective action.
Plan and execute engineering projects, installations, and equipment changes.
Assist production with any issues during your shift and maintain accurate system records.
Communicate effectively with Engineering and Production management.
The ideal candidate will have:
7+ years’ time-served, hands-on experience in a multi-skilled engineering role.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently.
Effective team player with strong communication skills.
Basic PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable Skills:
Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP knowledge.
Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
