Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will play a key role in delivering effective planned maintenance and quick, efficient breakdown response across plant machinery and site facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond quickly to breakdowns

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on 3-phase systems

• Conduct mechanical tasks: bearing changes, belt and chain work, sprockets, light welding

• Support facilities and building maintenance

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with the Maintenance Coordinator

• Contribute to reliability and continuous improvement projects

• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and legal standards

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Time-served apprenticeship or recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills (3-phase systems)

• Mechanical experience with motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and welding

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics

• Awareness of health & safety in industrial settings

• Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with PLCs, inverters and control systems

• Background in manufacturing, plastics, or recycling industries

• Certifications such as IPAF, FLT, MEWP, PASMA, Abrasive Wheels
