Job Role & Key Responsibilities

Permanent, full-time role based in Southall focusing on maintenance and operation of building services and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain heating and ventilation systems (pumps, motors, actuators)

• Conduct daily boiler room and plant equipment checks

• Maintain commercial kitchen equipment and plant

• Install, fault-find, and maintain low-voltage electrical systems

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective equipment

• Manage stock and source materials from suppliers

• Oversee contractor work and provide technical support to colleagues

• Ensure a safe working environment and comply with health and safety policies

• Provide cover for absent colleagues

• Complete additional tasks as requested by management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• BEng or Level 2 Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering

• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification

• Recognised C&G or NVQ qualifications

• Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and Health & Safety standards

• Proven technical expertise in building or facilities maintenance

• Strong numeracy skills for calculations and measurements

• Full, clean UK driving licence

Desirable Skills:

• Broader multi-skilled capability across mechanical and electrical building systems
