Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at a state-of-the-art automated site, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high-speed machinery in a fast-paced, environment. Working within a large team on a 4 on 4 off shift (days & nights), you’ll carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
Electrical and mechanical maintenance of automated equipment
Fault-finding on Siemens S7 PLC systems and control panels
Supporting efficient production through timely maintenance and issue resolution
Working with conveyors, mixers, ovens, and kilns
Contributing to continuous improvement at Europe’s fastest-producing site
The ideal candidate will have:
Mechanical qualifications with strong electrical skills
Experience in FMCG or heavy industrial environments
Confident in fault-finding on Siemens PLCs and control panels
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-output, automated environment
Desirable Skills:
Hands-on experience with Siemens S7
Knowledge of large-scale automated machinery
Previous work in dusty or challenging production settings
Adaptability to work within a large, collaborative engineering team
