Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Service Technician to join a growing technical services team, providing installation, maintenance and repair support across a field-based territory. This role is ideal for someone who is practical, mechanically minded and enjoys finding solutions. Previous experience within drinks dispense is not required, with full training provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service and maintain drinks dispense and cooling equipment.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
Attend breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
Install equipment at new and existing customer sites.
Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and best practice.
Develop strong, professional customer relationships.
Complete accurate service reports and update relevant systems.
Manage van stock, tools, equipment and spare parts.
Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety requirements.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Strong mechanical and practical aptitude.
A genuine interest in fixing, repairing and understanding how things work.
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
A positive, professional and reliable approach.
The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Flexibility to work across a field-based territory.
Basic IT skills for completing reports and updating systems.
A full UK driving licence.
The ability to carry out physical installation and maintenance work.
Confidence working directly with customers.
Desirable Skills:
Previous field-based engineering or service experience.
Mechanical fault diagnosis and repair experience.
Experience installing or maintaining commercial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good organisation and time-management.
Customer-facing experience.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
A willingness to learn and develop technically.
