An exciting opportunity is available for a Service Technician to join a growing technical services team. You’ll work directly with customers, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on specialist dispense and cooling equipment.
This role would suit a practical, mechanically minded individual who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently and providing a high standard of customer service. Previous experience in this specific industry is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Install, maintain, service and repair dispense and cooling equipment.
Investigate equipment faults and complete effective repairs.
Attend breakdowns and respond promptly to customer requirements.
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.
Install equipment across new and existing customer sites.
Demonstrate equipment operation and provide customers with practical guidance.
Maintain professional relationships with customers.
Complete service reports and update relevant systems accurately.
Manage vehicle stock, tools, equipment and spare parts.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
A strong practical and mechanical mindset.
An interest in repairing, maintaining or understanding mechanical equipment.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional, positive and reliable attitude.
The ability to work independently and organise your own workload.
Confidence working across different customer sites.
Basic IT skills for completing digital reports and service documentation.
A full UK driving licence.
The ability to undertake physical installation and maintenance work.
The flexibility to participate in a weekend and bank holiday rota.
Previous field-based engineering or maintenance experience.
Mechanical fault-finding and repair experience.
Experience working with commercial or customer-facing equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Good organisation and time-management skills.
A customer-focused approach.
Willingness to learn new equipment and technical processes.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
