Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a large, well-invested heavy industrial manufacturing site?

We are recruiting for a leading manufacturer seeking a skilled engineer to join their established maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of automated production equipment while benefiting from ongoing training, technical development and genuine career progression.

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across a heavy industrial production facility.
• Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and plant equipment.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical control panels.
• PLC fault finding, with a particular focus on Siemens S7 systems.
• Supporting site reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Minimising downtime and maximising plant performance.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, heavy industry, processing, recycling, steel, aggregates, building products, FMCG or similar environments.
• Experience working with industrial control systems and control panels.
• Siemens S7 PLC experience.
• A proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenance.
