Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work across multiple sites, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on a range of agricultural, commercial, and domestic equipment. This is a hands-on, varied role requiring strong electrical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance in a highly regulated environment

• Diagnose, isolate, and repair electrical and mechanical faults

• Install electrical systems and associated equipment, completing required certification

• Test equipment and ensure safe operation at all times

• Participate in the on-call rota, including alternative weeks and weekends

• Adhere to all electrical safety standards and safe working practices

• Work across plant machinery, vehicles, and fixed installations

• Maintain clear communication and documentation

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)

• Strong experience in electrical maintenance

• Experience working in regulated environments

• A multi-skilled background with knowledge of commercial and residential installations

• A proactive, organised approach with strong problem-solving skills

• The ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and use initiative

• A flexible attitude to working patterns and on-call duties

• A full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills:

• Agricultural electrical experience

• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing

• 18th Edition (training can be provided if required)

• Experience working with plant machinery and vehicles
