Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Boiler Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment on an immediate contract basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and compliance of boiler and steam plant systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor boilers and associated plant equipment.
Carry out water treatment testing, monitoring and compliance checks.
Complete planned and reactive maintenance on boiler systems.
Fault find and troubleshoot steam and hot water systems.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise downtime.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and statutory regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance, operational and compliance records.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Proven experience working with industrial boilers and steam systems.
Strong knowledge of water treatment processes.
Experience in boiler servicing and maintenance.
A relevant boiler operation qualification/certification would be advantageous.
Experience within a manufacturing, food, FMCG, process or industrial environment.
Availability to start at short notice.
Desirable Skills:
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
Good understanding of steam plant and hot water systems.
A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and plant operations.
Strong focus on health, safety and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work effectively alongside engineering and production teams.
