Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are currently recruiting for experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a busy manufacturing/production environment on an urgent contract basis. Opportunities are available for both Shift Engineers and Day Shift Engineers, with immediate availability required for the day shift positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.

• Support the maintenance and reliability of automated production machinery.

• Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.

• Work safely and independently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Complete maintenance activities in line with site procedures and standards.

• Provide effective technical support to production teams.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer with both electrical and mechanical capability.

• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.

• Experience working with automated production, packaging or similar machinery.

• A strong PPM and reactive maintenance background.

• The ability to work independently within a busy production environment.

• Flexibility to work the required shift pattern and travel to site.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience within bakery, food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production environments.

• Experience with a range of manufacturing tools, machinery and maintenance systems.

• Relevant engineering qualifications.

• Previous contract engineering experience.
