Job Title – Multi Skilled Shift Engineer
Salary – up to £55K
Shift – Mon to Fri, 2 shift rotation
Location – Wellingborough

Synergi are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join one of the UK’s largest recycling companies. This is the chance to join a company who have invested into their site to bring in the latest technology and automation. The successful Maintenance Engineer would be joining an experienced team of Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.

Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all equipment on site.
* Ensure production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
* Have an active role in team briefings and communication meetings.
* Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns and maintain manual and electronic record systems.
* Make suitable recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Assist with the installation and development of new projects and equipment.
* Maintain a safe and tidy workshop.

Desired skills:
* Manufacturing/Production experience or experience in a similar role
* 2-3 years proven Mechanical/Electrical Engineering experience.
* Level 3 Equivalent in Engineering
* PLC Fault Finding experience is essential.
* A passion for continuous improvement and enjoys problem solving.
