Job Title – Mechanical Reliability Engineer
Rate – £38,000 to £42,000
Shift – Monday to Friday Days (8am to 4pm)
Benefits – 28 days holiday + bank holidays, 14.5% pension (non-contributory), training courses.

Synergi are searching for a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join a manufacturing business based in the Purfleet area. This is a purely days-based role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Reliability Engineer:

The purpose of this role is to execute maintenance tasks including inspection, preventative, predictive, alignment and fault-finding activities, within a heavy industrial manufacturing plant. Working closely with the Reliability Manager.

Skills Required of a Mechanical Reliability Engineer:

– Inspecting, measuring, reporting and maintaining records of the condition of the machinery and equipment.
– Ensuring the equipment around the plant is running efficently and minimising downtime by liasing with the maintenance team (Vessels, screw conveyors, compressors, fans, gearboxes, material handling equipment)
– Adhering and contributing to maintain maintenance management policies and framework. This includes updating technical details, job guidelines, method statements, risk assessments, CMMS database, drawings, financial plans, project lists etc.
