We’re seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing site.  As part of the senior management team, you'll lead and develop HSE systems to support a strong safety-first culture.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting production leadership in EHS execution

• Developing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and compliance systems

• Monitoring legal and regulatory updates and ensuring site compliance

• Driving risk reduction, prevention strategies, and continuous improvement

• Leading HSE training, audits, investigations, and awareness campaigns

• Coordinating health surveillance and industrial hygiene programmes

• Representing the site at Group-level HSE forums

The ideal candidate will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)

• Proven HSE leadership in a manufacturing/process environment (CoSHH & DSEAR)

• Strong grasp of UK legal compliance and risk assessment

• Experience in developing Environmental Management Systems

• Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills

Desirable Skills:

• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Track record of driving cultural and operational change

• Confident working at all organisational levels
