Job Title: Engineering Co-Ordinator
Salary: up to £35,000
Shift: Monday – Friday (Day’s)

Synergi are recruiting for an Engineering Co-Ordinator to join a food manufacturing company in Barking. The successful Engineering Co-Ordinator would join engineering department working from Monday to Friday (days) helping the team with Planned Maintenance, engineering stores, overseeing contractors, supporting OEE improvement and more. Responsibilities of an Engineering Co-Ordinator
As an Engineering Coordinator your role will be a varied & exciting one. You will support the PPM programme, OEE improvement and lead the migration of PMs to CMMS whilst maintaining engineering activities on record. You will be responsible for the management of contractors. In the absence of the engineering manager, you will help represent them in meetings and audits.
* Be the single point of accountability for organising and reviewing engineering planning meetings
* Development of Engineering PM plans which is agreed by Engineering and Production
* Support the PPM program, OEE Improvement, Improvement of Equipment availability MTBF, Lead the
migration of PMs to CMMS.
* Maintain engineering activities records, statutory compliance records and audit documents.
*Engineering Stores Spares Optimisation to ensure high criticality spares are available. Develop and
document best practice policy, strategy plans and visual KPI’s, including cost reduction, inventory
reduction, availability obsolescence.
* Implement a process of Continuous Improvement.
* Carry out regular stock take off stores and areas and replenish where required.
* Management and control of contractors in compliance with group and site work safety procedures.
* Generate equipment and people performance reports.

Skills / Experience – Engineering Co-Ordinator
* Minimum of one (2 year’s) experience working within a food production/manufacturing engineering administrative role.
* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
* Effective communicator and confident to address audiences at all levels.
* Ability to speak confidently to external contacts over the phone and on email.
* Ability to actively listen to instructions while being in a very busy and changing environment.
* Excellent time management skills, ability to plan, organise, multi-task and work within strict deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail.
